WEEKLY PRAYER GROUPS
Currently there are two prayer groups meeting weekly. The first
group meets on Wednesday for an hour of prayer, scripture and
reflection, generally at 4:00 p.m. but the time is flexible
depending on the needs of the participants-you are welcome to
join them. The second group, Grandmothers in Touch (more than
a thousand grandmothers meet each week to pray for and claim
the Scripture for their children's children), meets each Friday
at 9:00 a.m. New people are always welcome! Contact Vi Darsee,

DESSERT AND DEVOTION
A gathering of women who have covenanted to meet, study and
pray together on a regular basis--2nd & 4th Wednesday evening,

GRAPEVINE
The Grapevine is Valley UMC's prayer network. This network links
the members of our church who are interested in, and dedicated
to, intercessory prayer on behalf of church members, regular
attenders and visitors, as well as their family and friends.

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
YOUTH --Open to all youth currently in grades 7-12. Meets Sunday
afternoons from 5-7 p.m., September through April. Contact:

ADULTS/FAMILIES/SINGLES- Organized small groups are
invited to participate in a variety of activities: Picnics!
Ball games! Progressive dinners! Holiday parties! You name it;

50+-A fellowship group for persons 50 years of age or
older. The group generally meets once a month and shares in
a variety of activities chosen by members of the group. Watch
the bulletin and newsletter for dates and times of meetings.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN-Valley's UMW meets quarterly
at a variety of times and settings to enable everyone an opportunity
to attend. The UMW is a community of women whose purpose is
to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through
Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and
to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global
ministries of the church. There is a reading program and many

SEARCHER'S CIRCLE-All women are welcome. Meets the first
Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. September through June.
