“And the shepherds went with haste, and found Mary and Joseph and the babe lying in a manger.” Luke 2.46
Isaiah 43.1
I don’t know about you but for me and my family, the month of December is the busiest month of the year. When I reflect upon it, it appears that this month has a DNA of business urgency. In the first Christmas the “shepherds went with haste” to see the baby Jesus. They acted with speed and quickness.
I believe there are two kinds of haste. One, haste that is waste. Two, haste that if you don’t act with quickness and timeliness wonderful opportunity will be lost.
Valley UMC will be providing this “wonderful haste” for you to see and be part of the celebration of the birth of the Savior of the world, and if you don’t act with haste, you need to wait another year to enjoy them again:
