Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ:

God has created you with a special purpose in mind. You are uniquely gifted and called.

We hope and pray that Valley UMC is attentive to offering a wide variety of ministry opportunities to keep us challenged and moving forward in Christ's footsteps.

We want to remind you of the membership covenant that we enter into as a part of the body of Christ known as Valley UMC:

Worship attendance unless out of town or ill,
Small group membership to grow in discipleship and Christian love,
Serve in mission/service opportunities,
Give according to the level I have been blessed, moving toward the Biblical standard of the tithe (10%), and
Pray for the ministries, pastors, staff and church family in my regular daily prayers.

Despite all that we do in the area of mission and ministry, there are always unmet needs and new opportunities. Valley UMC is committed to helping our members identify and implement new programs. If God is calling you toward a specific mission or ministry, we want to help you make it a reality.
