OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM
Young children, ages 3-4, will enjoy a traditional classroom.
For ages 5-4th grade, the Sunday School program consists of
workshop-style classrooms where children are taught the lessons
of the Bible in an interactive environment. Each program is
called a rotation. The same Bible lesson is taught for several
weeks as the children rotate, with children of their own age
group, through each of the workshops.
Workshops are as follows:
ACTS (Storytelling) - Children retell the Bible story by reading
it aloud, acting it out, or observing a dramatic production
of adults. Discussion follows.
CREATION (Art) - The children create works of art, age appropriate
and relating to the theme for the month.
BREAD OF LIFE (Cooking) - In this workshop, the Bible story
is taught through various food preparation projects.
VISIONS (Video) - Children learn by watching a video about the
Bible study and answering questions to determine how well they
understood.
FACTS (Science) - Children participate in various scientific
experiments to enforce what they learned in the Bible story.
FESTIVALS (Games) - Children play a series of learning games
enforcing the Bible story.
Grades 5-6, Junior High and Senior High students will be in
a traditional classroom.
