Ange Kinser to Present Program on Trip to Cambodia: On Sunday, February 12 between worship services Ange will tell the story of her recent trip to Cambodia. The program will begin around 9:45. We would all Sunday School classes, fellowship and 11:00 worshippers to join Ange for this interesting presentation.

5th Anniversary Special Offering & Art Show
Did you know Women at the Well is the ONLY actual United Methodist congregation based inside a prison? There are about 17 similarly situated congregations, but we are the only one in the United Methodist system. And we are celebrating our fifth anniversary!
On February 8, 2007, Bishop Palmer consecrated us as a congregation. We’ve done a lot of ministry in these five years!

The Adult Sunday School class
will begin their bible study of 1st Corinthians in February. All are welcome to join this class in the Pommrehn Lounge at 10 am

Chili Challenge and All Church Birthday Party: The Valley UMC Men’s group is sponsoring its annual Chili Challenge on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 5:00 p.m.
All groups or individuals are invited to join the Men’s group in bringing a crockpot of chili to the church at 4:30 p.m. that day to enter the cook-off.
This event will be followed with the All Church Birthday Party.
Watch for the sign-up by the church office.
Time to Buy Your Tickets!
Faith and Family Night at Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday, March 4, 2012 Come for the 4 p.m. Iowa Energy Basketball followed by a Christian concert with John Cheatem and Jonny Diaz.
Tickets are $10.71 (game, concert, hot dog, pop and popcorn) and can be purchased from Phillip or Lynlyn Nicolino by Sunday, February 26.
This will be a great family event for the entire family. A section of seats has been blocked so the Valley UMC group can sit together!
